The Wellbore Specialties casing scraper is a very effective tool for the removal of mud cake, cement sheath, pipe scale and other foreign material from the casing I.D. and is recommended for use in all drilling applications as well as clean out and displacement assemblies. The tool body is manufactured from heat treated, high alloy steel and has the highest operating parameters in the energy industry. The 45 degree left hand blades are precision cast, case-hardened, and contoured to the exact fit of the casing to provide 100% coverage of the inner wall of casing and liner.

It is recommended that the casing scraper be run immediately above the bit on drilling or completions. If there is anticipated drilling of landing or float collars, then the appropriate milling tool, should be added to create the proper dress assembly. For completion operations, it is recommended that a full-body casing scraper be spaced to reach the bottom of all casing. WBS Casing Brush can be spaced above the WBS Casing Scraper to further scour and prepare the casing ID for fluids exchange and production equipment.
